This past Wednesday, the weather was finally so beautiful for the Market. And it should be again this weekend and next week! Our booths are filled with fresh produce, handmade products, and so many delicious foods. Our plant vendors are also still well-stocked with tomato, pepper, cucumber, and other plant starts for your gardens. And now that we have warm weather, everything should grow fast!
Come shop local and fresh with us at our Hayden location on Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:30 pm, and then again on Wednesday, 4:00 – 7:00 pm, at Riverstone in CDA.

Kerr Microgreens: Sorrel is ready! It’s a new crop that takes time to grow, and it’s now ready to harvest for you to enjoy. Sorrel has a fresh, zesty lemon flavor and goes great with fish. Ask for a sample at one of our upcoming Markets. This weekend, we will also have Sunflower, Radish, Pea, Arugula, Mustard, Spicy Salad Mix, Amaranth, Broccoli, and Cantaloupe. Sunny Springs Gardens: I will have tomato, basil, strawberry, and raspberry plants as well as jams, salsas, soaps, bath bombs, and shower steamers.
Willow Wood Honey Farm: We will be offering a free honeybee garden sign with purchase of $50 or more this Saturday, while supplies lag. Although the bees are still making this year’s honey, the booth is full of beeswax hand butter and lip balm, as well as handmade baskets, eggs, rhubarb, and bags of mixed salad greens. Stop by for a free sample of hand butter, including our seasonal favorite, Dandelion!
Beauty Bay Winery: This season we will have Huckleberry, Marionberry, Blackcap, and Apricot fruit wines all handcrafted and 100% natural, as always. Later this season, we will offer our new Concord Grape wine along with our Dry Raspberry. Try a sample at our booth!
Ramstead Ranch: It’s pork month at Ramstead Ranch! That means you can enjoy delicious, truly pasture-raised pork at our lowest prices of the year. Bert premium cuts like pork chops, shoulder roasts, and ribs – all on sale!
Solunar Nutrition: Our Mockaccino is a cozy yet invigorating chocolate-herbal drink mix, the perfect substitute for those who abstain from caffeine or are looking to cut back/quit. In addition, it’s great for coffee enthusiasts to enhance the flavor and nutritional value in their own beverages. As a low-calorie crave-quencher, MJ’s is also ideal for weight-loss. Come grab some this Saturday!
Winifred Farms: With the higher temps in the forecast this week, things will be blooming like crazy! Stop by our booth to see what fresh cuts e have this week. Market bouquets will be stuffed with all kinds of new treasures.
Blue Wildrye Farm: Just in time for BBQ weather and Father’s Day, our Jalapeño Cheddar Bratwurst are back! These juicy sausage links are stuffed with zippy bits of jalapeño and meaty chunks of cheddar cheese. $14.00 per 1-lb pack.
Lake City Bakers:We have been busy in the bakery making all sorts of delicious treats! This week, we will have lots of banana bread, with or without walnuts, as well as our Honey Oat Bread. Have you tried banana bread French toast? See the recipe below. Yum!
Lake City Juice: Happy Friday! I am discounting 2- and 3-day juice cleanses by 15% this weekend. And i have some fantastic new summer juice recipes! Slim down, detox, or just drink something nutritious.
Simply Sweet Cottage Treats: On Wednesday, we will have some savory pastries, like garlic parmesan, parmesan, garlic parmesan with pepperoni, and some new herb cheese bread. Saturday: We will have warm cinnamon rolls until sold out. we’ll also have our new bestseller, blueberry lemon curd rolls, as well as smookies – chocolate chip cookies stuffed with s’more.
Narrow Way Coffee Roaster: It’s going to be a gorgeous day at the market and perfect cold brew weather! We’ll have our Costa Rica cold brew with incredible tasting notes of chocolate and strawberries. You’ve got to try it! Take a bag of freshly roasted coffee beans home for the week too. See you there!
Kiss My Biscotti: We won’t be at the markets this week, but you can catch us again on June 15th, right before Father’s Day ,with a new tasty Savory treat…Bacon, Bourbon, and Gouda Biscotti! These are fabulous with a roasted tomato soup, since Mother Nature can’t decide what season to give us – or with a Caesar Salad. You can even add them to a charcuterie board! We will also have our delicious Strawberry and Rhubarb Scones, as well as Cranberry and Orange Scones. See you when we get back!

The Wellness Bar Food Truck: We are excited to be back at the Wednesday Market, and Saturdays have been so much fun! On Saturday, grab an invigorating ginger shot to boost your immunity, paired with your favorite açaí bowl. It’s the perfect way to kickstart your weekend. Then, on Wednesday, join us for a unique BYOB – Build Your Own Bowl – experience. Start with a luscious açaí base and pile on your favorite finds of the day. Pay by weight and create the perfect bowl just for you. See you there!
Carpe Diem Crepes: Come try my new CREPE of the Month! Homemade “coulis” (basically “sauce” in French) made with fresh raspberries and strawberries, and topped with Belgian chocolate shavings…I will have this through the end of June!
Puzo’s Pelmeni (Food Court): Welcome to sunny week 5 of Market! This week, we’ll be serving Beef and Cheese Piroshki and our wildly popular Biscuits and Gravy Piroshki – hurry and get yours before they sell out on Saturday! We will also be serving Russian Tea Cakes, Mini Baklava Cheesecakes, Kompot (refreshing juice made from boiling fruit), and our Sparkling White Russian (non-alcoholic). Also, we’ll be selling frozen take-and-baked Smoked Salmon Pot Pies!
Reminder: Bring your market basket for your shopping or a box for your plants. Our vendors also appreciate small cash bills, especially if you are shopping early.

Grab some fresh banana bread from the Market, along with local eggs and milk, and make this for Sunday Brunch!
- 8 1-inch slices banana bread
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla exract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- butter

Preheat the griddle of pan to medium high heat.

Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a shallow dish.

Dip the banana bread slices into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Do not soak!

Generously butter the griddle or pan. Place one slice on the hot surface and cook until golden. Flip and cook the other side until golden as well. Repeat with all slices.

Serve warm with maple syrup or local honey. Top with banana slices, local berries, nuts, whipped cream, butter, powdered sugar...whatever you like best!
