
Happy Mother’s Day Weekend! Our vendors have all the lovely goodies for those special women in your life. From flowers and plants to sweet and savory foods, we at the Kootenai County Farmers’ Markets are the perfect place to shop this weekend – or bring her with you and enjoy a beautiful Saturday together.
We are a true farmers market, and everything here is produced or grown by the vendor presenting it. Come meet and know your farmers this season as we look forward to many more years with you.
- Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at the corner of Hwy 95 and Prairie Ave in Coeur d’Alene
- Wednesday: 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Main Street in Riverstone Village in Coeur d’Alene

40th Anniversary Season Monthly Raffles
One way we’re celebrating our 40th Anniversary this year is by hosting Monthly Market Raffles. And our first drawing is this weekend! Here’s how it works.
- Purchase raffle tickets at the Manager’s Booth: $1 each or six tickets for $5.
- Bonus: Complete a Market Meet & Greet Passport and receive 1 FREE raffle ticket.
- Raffle drawings will be held each month – May 9th is the first for a Mother’s Day Gift Basket!
- Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Kootenai County Farmers’ Markets non-profit that supports local farmers, artisans, and community access to fresh, healthy food.


FUNDrive at the Market!
Starting April 18th, Kootenai County Farmers’ Markets are hosting a FUNDrive! And we invite you to bring and drop off used items to donate, and we will be collecting every Saturday until June 18th. You can drop off your donations at booth 69, booth 70, or the Market Manager’s booth. See below for more information and what items we are accepting.
Every donation you bring supports the farmers’ markets and our community contribution. Please feel free to ask neighbors, friends, and coworkers for donations as well. #fundrive

Fresh from Farmers this Week: Produce: LOTS OF PLANT STARTS!, strawberry plants, flower bulbs, microgreens, arugula, asparagus, chard, lettuce, salad mix, Asian greens, spinach, mountain spinach (Orach), radishes, rhubarb, dill, cilantro, onions, shallots Meat Products: chicken and duck eggs, sausage, pork, beef Dairy: raw goat milk and chevre, raw cow milk and cheese, yogurt Floral: marigold starts, nasturtium starts, fresh-cut flower bouquets, including tulips and anemones – PERFECT FOR MOTHER’S DAY! Other: local honey, artisan fruit vinegars, farm-crafted salsas and jams, artisan soaps and bodycare products, and so much more! |

Killarney Farms: We will be at the market with fresh spring arugula, asparagus, chard, sweet spring lettuce, salad mixed greens, Asian greens, radishes, spinach, mountain spinach (Orach), rhubarb, dill, and cilantro. Stop by and shop!
McKerracher Family Farm: We will have tomatoes, cucumber, pepper, squashes, ginger plants and many more, as well as a huge selection of flowers for hanging baskets, and planters. We will also have fresh picked Spinach, Arugula, Radishes and our wonderful Fresh Salad Turnips.

Winifred Farms: It has been a very eventful week at Winifred Farms as we prepped for Mother’s Day! If you need flowers for a mom in your life, skip the grocery store, and come and see us at the market! Our booth will be stuffed with beautiful blooms! When you purchase from Winifred Farms, not only are you supporting a local farm, but you are buying a higher quality product that is going to last longer in the vase.
This week, we are excited to offer growers bunches of tulips, anemones and ranunculus. We will also have mixed bouquets for mom and some very special vase arrangements as well. Come and see us in our new space, Booth #83, right across from the Manager’s Booth.

MRM Flowers: We will have smoked cheeses, smoked peanuts, and smoked cashews this week! Pick up a few snacks for Mother’s Day.

Blue Wildrye Farm: Our raw A2A2 Jersey Milk (Cream Top) is the milk that built our dairy. From our pasture-raised Jersey cows, it’s naturally rich, gently sweet, and topped with that beautiful cream line. Dandelion Half Acre: You’ve been asking where we are, so here’s a little update. Dandelion Half Acre had a few conflicts this spring, but you will see us soon! Not this Saturday, but we plan to be back in a week or two with all your favorite cookies and fresh made herb salts. Thank you for your patience, and enjoy spring.

Vesper Charcuterie (New!): Vesper Charcuterie is excited to join the Kootenai Farmers Market this season. Come hand pick your own lunch of gourmet meats, cheeses, fruits, olives etc. Or pick one of our chef boards that are expertly selected and prepared ahead of time by Chef Jonathan Siegler. Vesper will have chef boards for Mothers Day this week, curated with love especially for moms. These match beautifully with a fresh bouquet of farmers market flowers as a gift the following day.

Graham Publishing: Books by local authors Clark and Deb make terrific Mothers Day gifts! We’ll even sign yours. Come see our books –over 100!–at Graham Publishing, by the Market Manager’s booth. We love to talk about books and writing. There’s a brand new peanut butter cookbook, too. Here’s a sample recipe…
Warm Peanut Butter Spinach
Pick up some fresh spinach from the market. Wash, but don’t dry the leaves. In a hot pan, wilt spinach then stir in a couple tablespoons peanut butter, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a sprinkle of salt. A silky rich sauce magically appears, making a quick nutritious side dish that your family will love.

Garden Party Fibers: I am looking forward to our Saturday market. I have several new shawls to share. These are knit by me with my handspun yarn from local farms.

Kiss My Biscotti: Kiss My Biscotti will be bringing some of your favorite small-batch treats! 🍪✨ Some of this week’s biscotti lineup includes Mom’s Morning Biscotti, classic Anise & Lemon, and rich Peanut Butter & Chocolate. I’ll also have fresh-baked Strawberry Rhubarb and Cranberry Orange scones freshly baked morning of and ready for your morning coffee run. ☕️ Along with the baked goodies, I’ll have plenty of my homemade dry mixes and a fresh collection of whimsical wine gnomes too! Whether you’re stocking up on treats, grabbing a thoughtful gift, or just stopping by to say hi, I can’t wait to see everyone at the market for another sweet Saturday together.
