
Blueberries, raspberries…and huckleberries are in ripe and in season at the Kootenai County Farmers Market on Saturday and Wednesday this week! Many of our vendors are incorporating the beloved local huckleberry into their crafted goods, and you may find some berries for yourself if you come early. See below for some delicious huckleberry options from our vendors, and shop with us for all your summer food needs, baked goods, gifts, crafts, and home necessities. The Market is also a lovely place to enjoy a pastry and coffee with live music. Here in your community twice a week.
- Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at the corner of Hwy 95 and Prairie Ave in Coeur d’Alene
- Wednesday: 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Main Street in Riverstone Village in Coeur d’Alene

What treats will you discover at the Wednesday Market this coming week?! Our Riverstone Market on Wednesdays is a truly local and fun time in the heart of Coeur d’Alene. Open every Wednesday, 4-7pm, through September in Riverstone on Beebe Blvd and Main Street, Coeur d’Alene, it’s the perfect destination for your bike ride, and your one-stop-shop for fresh local farm produce, delicious jams, sourdough bread, local baked goods, handcrafted homegoods and gifts, local wine, fresh juices, food truck delights, fun activities for the kids, and more. Free parking and just off the North Idaho Centennial Trail and Atlas Park!
Treat the kids to a fun movie each week this summer (no new releases) with our donation Hayden Cinema Summer Family Movies cards. It’s only a suggested $5-$10 donation and the proceeds benefit the Friends of the Market non-profit.

A Few Market Reminders




Killarney Farms: Paul and Ellen will be at the Saturday Market with tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, green beans, fava beans, beets, broccoli, broccolini, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, chard, arugula, eggplant, endive, fennel, potatoes, patty pan squash, zucchini, radishes, Daikon radishes, kale, kohlrabi, lettuce, salad mixed greens, Mountain spinach, New Zealand spinach, salad turnips, peppers (Anaheim, Poblano, jalapeno, and bell), raspberries (red, golden, and black), blueberries, huckleberries, strawberries and herbs, including lavender, dill, parsley, and basil raw goat’s milk, and chevre. See you there!
Mohr Lavender: Try our most popular product! Our Lavender Pepper, made with 4 peppercorns, 6 varieties of culinary lavender and pink Himalayan salt. It’s amazing on soups, salads, meats, eggs, and sandwiches. What will you try it on?

Lake City Bakers: Lake City Bakers is a little Huckleberry all year, but we’ve got more goodies planned this week! This Saturday, try a Huckleberry Cream Cheese Croissant, a pan of Huckleberry Coffee Cake, or grab our famous Apple Huckleberry Pies or Huckleberry White Chocolate Scones. Don’t forget to grab a $1 raffle ticket at the manager’s booth for an Apple Huckleberry Pie and many other prizes to benefit the vets at NewbyGinnings!

Blue Wildrye Farm: This is one of our favorite weeks of the year…Our 2026 grass-fed & finished beef has finally arrived! And that’s not all. Our first batch of Freedom Ranger chickens is in the freezer, our young hens have started laying (which means we’ve posted even more eggs in the online store), and we’ve been busy making yogurt—Plain, Honey, and our limited-edition Cherry. In other words…if you’ve been waiting to stock your freezer, refrigerator, or both, this is the week. Whether you’re planning summer grilling, filling the freezer for busy nights, or simply restocking your Blue Wildrye favorites, we’ve got you covered. Remember, you can pre-order for Saturday Market by Thursday night on our website.
Animal Party Rabbitry + North Idaho Fragrance Company: This Saturday, there will be dwarf bunnies at the Market to hold and for sale These little furry bundles are natural stress relief and a fun activity for the kids. North Idaho Fragrance will also have a selection of all-natural botanical perfumes to try and purchase – featuring all-natural Huckleberry Perfume!



Graham Publishing: Smoky summer days call for a new book! Come see Clark and Deb at Graham Publishing by the Manager’s booth. We offer dozens of wholesome books, including local-settings, across a wide range of genres. Plus, Deb has a new release on encouraging budding writers! We love to chat about writing and books.
Black Forest Bakery: We’ll have Cream Puffs/Windbeutel this Saturday, lots of German Torten…and so much more!



Garden Party Fibers: It is a bit warm to think about a shawl today. But in a blink, our temps will drop, and you can be prepared. Here is one of the huckleberry shawls I have available. Hand knit by me with my handspun yarn crafted from local wool as accents. I also have lots of purpley handspun yarn available. Handspun by me with locally sourced fibers.

This week’s special is Huckleberry & Lemon Biscotti and Huckleberry & Lemon Scones! I hand-picked the wild huckleberries myself in the mountains, then paired them with bright, fresh lemon for a flavor that’s truly summer in every bite. Along with these seasonal favorites, I’ll have a delicious selection of biscotti, freshly baked scones morning of market, gluten-friendly granola, dry mixes, and my whimsical wine gnomes. Come early—wild huckleberries are only in season for a short time, and these treats won’t last long!
Idahome Espresso: We are featuring this weekend a Huckleberry White Chocolate Mocha.
