Harvest Season is the best time to shop, Market Customers!
Upcoming KCFM Events
Our Fall Fest, a Saturday Market event that’s alway heaps of fun for the whole family, is in a few weeks, and we’re looking for some clothing donations for our make-a-scarecrow activity. If you have old pants or shirts (size large or bigger) that you’re looking to pass on, we’d love to take them off your hands! We need at least 125 pants and 125 shirts (button up works best), and could use some hats or scarves for accessories as well. If you’re able, please bring your donations to the manager’s booth on Saturday, September 13 or Saturday, September 20. Thank you in advance!!
Fresh from Farmers this Week:
|
Idaho Livestock Cattle: Established in Hayden, Idaho. We breed and raise seedstock Aberdeen Lowline Cattle. We see them from the time they’re born until they are sold to add genetics to another herd or until they end up in the locker. They are raised on pasture and hay. The steers and sometimes heifers that are chosen for harvest get fed out the last 90 days on grain. They are harvested between 18/24 months, hang for two weeks at Smokey Ridge Meats in Chewelah. This year our ground beef deal of 5 1# pk for $35 is back.
Kiss My Biscotti: Indulge in the warm, comforting flavors of fall 🍁 with Kiss My Biscottis Maple Pecan Scones! Made with a delightful blend of rich maple syrup from my family’s maple grove back in Massachusetts and crunchy pecans, these scones have a hint of sweetness in every bite. Whether you’re enjoying them with your morning coffee or as an afternoon treat, they’re sure to bring a touch of fall coziness to your day.
Blue Wildrye Farm: Fall flavors are back! This week we’re featuring our grass fed and finished beef stew meat, just in time for soup and stew season. These tender morsels are packed with rich, beefy flavor and raised with the same pasture-based care that makes all our beef so special. $13/lb. Online pre-orders are also available: click here to order on the website by 11 pm on Thursdays for Saturday pick up or 11 pm on Mondays for Wednesday pick up.
