Also new this week (at the Saturday market) is an exciting program designed to get your kids as interested in their food as you are! (Did I mention they can earn market tokens for participating?) MUSIC THIS WEEK:

|This year the Kootenai County Farmers Market is introducing a new program called the PoP (Power of Produce) Club brought to you by the Inland Northwest Food Network.
Every week, children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in activities that involve cooking and gardening, and a variety of interactive learning experiences that connect kids with the natural world around them, children will also each receive a $2 token to use at participating farmer booths to purchase a fruit or veggie of their choice.
The PoP Club will be located near the South entrance of the market next to the market manager’s booth. The first club meeting is on June 10th 2017 and every Saturday after that until September 9th 2017.
Come out and join the PoP Club and experience the power of produce!
Look forward to seeing you there!
Your right Beth Napa Cabbage will be at market this week, along with Shallots, Chives, Garlic Greens, PEAS and FRESH BASIL. Make sure to get your plants in the next week or 2 before they are all gone!
