Join us for Hometown Heroes’ Day at Riverstone on Wednesday, May 28th from 4-7!! The NewbyGinnings Truck will be at the Market collecting donations for local veterans. See image for a list of the items we need the most.
And personnel from the Police, Fire Department, Kootenai County Sheriffs Department, and Idaho National Guard will be here to visit and will display trucks, equipment, an ambulance, and a Humvee! Enjoy a great market day and learn more about Kootenai County’s first responders ❤

Killarney Farms: Killarney will be at the Saturday Market with basil starts! They’ll also have lots of fresh radishes, arugula, baby beets, baby carrots, salad mix, Asian greens, salad turnips, rhubarb, kale, dill, broccoli raab, and lettuce. Check out their other certified organic veggie starts!
Blue Wildrye Farm: Just in time for Memorial Day grilling! Pick up your pasture-raised favorites at the Markets this weekend and next Wednesday. Our sausages, pork chops, and especially those amazing spare ribs will make you a grill hero this holiday weekend Pre-order by 11 pm on Thursdays for Saturday pick up or 11 pm on Mondays for Wednesday pick up.
Sunny Springs Garden: Ixchel will be at the Saturday and Wednesday Markets with strawberry, tomato, and herb plant starts as well as her scrumptious farm-made salsas, jams, and bath products: soaps, bath bombs shower steamers, and body butters.
Winifred Farms: If a peony and a rose had a baby, it would be a Ranunculus! Now blooming at Winifred Farms. This week at Winifred Farms we said goodbye to the last of the tulips, but as Spring on the farm continues, more and more flowers are blooming everyday! This week, we will have mixed bouquets stuffed with Anemones, Ranunculus, Sweet William, Stock, Geum, Iris and anything else that pops before Saturday. We will have some Lilacs, Memorial Day red, white and blue mixes and full booth of blooms. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend!
McKerracher Family Farm: We will have freshly-harvested arugula, lettuce mix, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, and fresh spring chives. Come see us!
Deerfield Farms: Our tomatoes are starting to trickle in, first fruit harvest. The early season pink heirlooms are first, then a few yellows. Soon to come will be the vines and slicers (the red round beefsteak type). We also have plenty of Black Eyed Susan Vines in 3” pots. Our cucumbers are still abundant and ducks eggs are also plentiful.
Kerr Microgreens: Happy Memorial Day! We are bringing a big selection of fresh microgreens this Saturday, 5/24. 🌱 Look for: amaranth, cantaloupe, sunflower, pea, rambo and red arrow radish, broccoli, rutabaga, salad mix, opal basil, cress, buckwheat, red cabbage, wheatgrass, and wasabi mustard. For anyone camping, hiking or traveling this weekend, we also have freeze dried microgreens in powder or crushed varieties. Hope we see you soon!
Graham Publishing: You need a new book…and books make terrific gifts, too! Come talk to two local authors (of 90 books!) at Graham Publishing on Saturdays, right by the Market Manager. We offer several genres and love to chat about books and writing.
Quill Your Wishes: Alena will be selling her handmade quilled cards this weekend. Stop by and check out here selection for Mother’s Day! A quilling card is a greeting card decorated with an art form where thin strips of paper are rolled, shaped, and glued to create intricate designs. These designs are then attached to the card’s surface to create a decorative and unique piece of paper art.
Kiss My Biscotti:Kiss My Biscotti wants to thank all the men and women of the military who have and are serving our country. 🇺🇸 We will have lots of biscotti and scones ready for you to take home for Memorial Day weekend! Some of the flavors we will have: Anise & Lemon, Toffee & Chocolate, Morning, White Chocolate & Cranberry…just to name a few. Strawberry & Rhubarb, and Cranberry & Orange scones will be freshly baked the morning of market!
Lake City Bakers: Lake City Bakers will be bringing out our best treats for the long weekend! Stop in for a Frosted Fudge Brownie or Gluten-Friendly Lemon Brownie this Saturday! We will also have plenty of great pies for your Memorial Day festivities!
IN THE FOOD COURT:
The Hungry Squatch: We are the new booth in the Food Court, coming to you alongside Aebleskivers. We will be offering food specials all summer, but this holiday weekend we will have specialty burgers and are introducing the Blazing Behemoth! This burger is loaded with pepper jack cheese and jalapeños, is infused with spices, and is topped with a mango habanero sauce. Come get it while it’s here!
Bully Dogs: Have you tried our dogs? They are delicious! Thank you for coming and supporting our new booth this past week! I’ll be serving up an assortment of hot dogs, sausages, and brats, along with mouth-watering Chicken Tamales. Come try it out, and look for my expanded menu next week.
Carpe Diem Crepes: Meet our Crêpe of the month for May: “Rouge Délice” This delightful crepe tastes like spring with homemade Fresh Berries Coulis poured over a warm crêpe and topped with whipped cream. Simple ingredients, always fresh.
Idahome Espresso: We’ll be there on Saturday! May’s drink specials include Mom’s Mocha (chocolate and raspberry), Honey Bee Latte (honey, vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon), and Sweet Treat Latte (vanilla and cupcake syrups). Come grab a drink and enjoy the live music.

Spring greens are sweet and refreshing. Make this crisp spring salad to serve alongside warm weather BBQ.
- 1 cup chopped Market iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup torn Market romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup Market arugula
- 1/2 cup Market spinach
- 3-4 radishes
- 1/2 cup buckwheat microgreens
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 1 heirloom tomato, sliced
- 1 baby carrot, grated
- protein of choice (optional) - crispy Blue Wildrye belly bacon, sauteed local mushrooms, roasted chickpeas, etc.
- 1/2 cup olive or avocado oil
- 1/4 cup sherry vinegar or white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp local honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, crushed
- sea salt and pepper to taste

Wash and prepare all the salad ingredients. Either layer or toss together in a large bowl.

Whisk all ingredients in a bowl or liquid measuring cup. You can also add ingredients to a jar, seal with a lid, and shake vigorously to emulsify. Additionally, you can double the recipe and process in a blender.

Serve salad immediately with dressing on the side.
