Fresh from Farmers this Week:
|
Deerfield Farms: We’ve been harvesting most varieties of tomatoes this week, and the beefsteak types are coming in strong. It’s our first fruit, so they are large and beautiful! One slice will cover a burger bun or bread slice, so they’re perfect for grilling. We also think they’re good eaten just like an apple! We still have a good supply of Black Eyed Susan Vines and will have plenty of Duck Eggs this Saturday.
Blue Wildrye Farm: Our Jalapeño Cheddar Brats ($14/pk) are finally back—and your grill has missed them. Made from our pasture-raised Berkshire pork, they’re handcrafted in small batches by an artisan sausage maker right here in Moscow. Packed with zippy bits of jalapeño and melty cheddar cheese, these brats are bold, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Whether you grill them up for a weekend cookout or pan-fry them for a quick dinner, you’ll taste the care and quality in every bite. Pre-orders only available online by 11 pm on Thursdays for Saturday pick up or 11 pm on Mondays for Wednesday pick up.
Northern Latitude Foods: Northern Latitude Foods Coeur d’Alene Organic Wild Rice now offers 1/2 loaves of Organic Wild Rice wheat bread and cookies. Please stop by to try a sample of our fresh bread or cookies made from our freshly-ground organic wild rice. We have bread, loaded oatmeal wild rice cookies, and gluten free oatmeal wild rice cookies along with our variety of local organic wild rice and organic wild rice flour. We are located at the north end of the market along Prairie Ave at booth number 16. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
Narrow Way Coffee Roasters: After 2 years at the farmers market, this will be Narrow Way Coffee’s last market. We are beyond grateful for the amazing people we have met and for the countless memories throughout that time! Stop by and say hello and stock up on amazing coffees – try our much loved seasonal cold brew from Costa Rica. Thank you from the
bottom of our hearts, we look forward to seeing you at our new venture “Lantern Donuts” coming soon on Sherman Ave!
Lake City Bakers: Lake City Bakers will be bringing out Banana Cream Parfaits and yummy Key Lime Cream Pies! Stop by their booth and get a mini pie for yourself or a large pie to share!
Lilly’s Lemonade: Come try out my delightful lemonade! Made with real lemon juice and served iced cold. It is the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. This weekend my flavors will be…Original Lemonade, Mixed Berry Limeade, and Tropical Lemonade. Look forward to seeing you Saturday!
Kiss My Biscotti: Licorice Lovers Unite! Anise carries the flavor and aroma of licorice and with a hint of lemon at the end of each bite, these flavorful delights will leave you coming back for more! Pairs with Chenin Blanc, a muscat, Riesling or burgundy wine. Great with coffee or tea too. We will have market morning baked scones for you to enjoy as well!
Carpe Diem Crepes: Have you tried our authentic French creperie? June’s Crepe of the Month is an old-time favorite: Belle Helene. Our signature light and tender crepe is topped with house poached pears, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream, then drizzled with chocolate sauce. Délicieux and perfect for warm weather!
Graham Publishing: Father’s Day is sneaking up fast and a book signed by the author is a fine gift! Stop by Graham Publishing to meet Deb and Clark, right by the Market Manager’s booth. We are authors of close to NINETY books in quite a few genres. Sci-fi/fantasy, historical fiction, 8 set in North Idaho, and more! We’re always up for a chat about writing, too.
