We are so grateful for all the men and dads who farm, grow, craft, cook, and make our Market possible and amazing! This Saturday, we’ll have everything for the special men in your life, from delicious grilling meats, veggies, and spice blends to beautiful woodcrafts, scrumptious desserts, and colorful flower bouquets – we know that the guys enjoy being given flowers too! Our booths are filled on Saturday and Wednesday with fresh produce, handmade products, and so many delicious foods. Our plant vendors are also still well-stocked with tomato, pepper, cucumber, and other plant starts for your gardens. And now that we have warm weather, everything should grow fast!
Come shop local and fresh with us at our Hayden location on Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:30 pm, and on Wednesday, 4:00 – 7:00 pm, at Riverstone in CDA.

Terratopia Farm: New this week we expect to have snap peas and garlic scapes. We will also have our usual fare: raw goat milk and cheeses (chèvre, mozzarella, marinated mozzarella, feta, marinated feta, a variety of hard cheeses), cajeta (goat milk caramel sauce), and jams and jellies.
Beauty Bay Winery: This season we will have Huckleberry, Marionberry, Blackcap, and Apricot fruit wines all handcrafted and 100% natural, as always. Later this season, we will offer our new Concord Grape wine along with our Dry Raspberry. Try a sample at our booth!
Blue Wildrye Farm: We held back our most premium steaks for Father’s Day this year: our Beef Tenderloin Steaks! Our 100% grass-fed and -finished beef tenderloin steaks are tender, buttery, and beefy. Your Dad will feel loved for sure with this special occasion meal!

Narrow Way Coffee Roaster: It’s Father’s Day weekend, and we know dads can be hard to buy for. But what dad doesn’t like fresh, locally roasted, premium artisan coffee?! Come get a bag of coffee for dad and one for yourself. We’ll have a giveaway for the perfect mug and coffee set for dad too!
Kiss My Biscotti: Catch us this Saturday right before Father’s Day ,with a new tasty Savory treat…Bacon, Bourbon, and Gouda Biscotti! These are fabulous with a roasted tomato soup, since Mother Nature can’t decide what season to give us – or with a Caesar Salad. You can even add them to a charcuterie board! We will also have our delicious Strawberry and Rhubarb Scones, as well as Cranberry and Orange Scones. See you then!
Marrow & Tallow: We will be there on Saturday with locally sourced Collagen Cream, Tallow Balm, and Sun Screen handmade by me (Jordan). Can’t wait to see everyone!
Coeur Woodworks: Xander Hirschi makes beautiful handmade cutting boards that will last a lifetime. He also has small, unique solid wood planters for mini succulent plants. Come see what this talented young teen has to offer!
Tea.Health.Honey: Our newest line of Spiked Sweet’ners begins with Vanilla, a blend of pure cane sugar and organic vanilla concentrate. What makes this product unique (and absolutely fabulous, if you ask us!), is that it stands up to bold flavors like strong teas, baked goodies, or dare I say….. even coffee?! Carpe Diem Crepes: My CREPE of the Month! Homemade “coulis” (basically “sauce” in French) made with fresh raspberries and strawberries, and topped with Belgian chocolate shavings…I will have this through the end of June!

Add this side recipe to your grill menu this weekend with fresh, local produce from the Market
- 1 Tbs butter
- 20 garlic scapes, cut into 3-inch pieces
- 8 oyster mushrooms, cleaned and sliced about 2 cups
- 1 large carrot, chopped roughly 3/4 cup
- 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- sea salt and pepper to taste

Heat the oil in a large sauté pan over medium high heat. Add the mushrooms and carrots and cook until softened and edges of mushrooms begin to brown, about 4 minutes.the mushrooms

Stir in the garlic scape pieces and cook until they've begun to brown slightly. Add the thyme, lemon zest, salt, and pepper, and cook for another minute.

Serve warm alongside your favorite main grilled foods and enjoy!
