Fresh from Farmers this Week:
|
Pamelot Lavender: Pam is coming to the Market this weekend with fresh lavender bouquets and gifts! She’ll be at the Saturday Market for the next 4 Saturdays.
Riley Creek Blueberries: Riley Creek will be there this weekend with the first fresh picked blueberries of the season. Come see them at their booth.
The Tomato Lady: I’m so excited to be returning to market every other Saturday starting this week! I’m bringing strawberry and raspberry jams, and jalapeno jams made with my just picked garden fruit, plus some special perennials, berries, grapes, and fun geraniums and coleus. Come vist Wendy and I next to the market manager. New jams every week, and some other goodies, too!
Mohr Lavender: We will have fresh English lavender bundles at booth 55 this weekend!
Killarney Farms: Killarney will be bringing arugula, green and yellow beans, red, golden and Heirloom beets, Bok choy, broccoli, broccolini; red cabbage, carrots, celery, chard, collards, cucumbers, eggplant, frisee, escarole, kale, kohlrabi, mesclun salad mix, lettuce, green onions, mini onions, Orach [Mountain spinach], parsley, peas; green peppers, potatoes, Asian greens, summer squash, zucchini, salad turnips, dill, cilantro, blueberries, NEW cherries, red and NEW golden raspberries, and NEW loganberries.
Blue Wildrye Farm: After more than two years of hard work, learning, and building, our raw milk microdairy is officially up and running! We’ve spent that time perfecting our milking routines, hygiene practices, and facilities to ensure that every bottle of milk is clean, safe, and absolutely delicious. Our rich, raw A2A2 Jersey milk with a crown of cream is finally here, and we’re so excited to share it with our community! Raw milk also offers a nutritional edge, with:
✔️ Natural enzymes to support digestion
✔️ Beneficial bacteria for gut health
✔️ Vitamins A, D & K2 for immune and bone health
✔️ Highly bioavailable minerals like calcium and magnesium
Taste the difference—your body will thank you! $12/half gallon
Graham Publishing: When is the last time you read a good book? Summer is the best time to pick up your long-lost reading habit. Clark and Deb offer close to ninety books in many genres–great for gifts, too! Find Graham Publishing by the Market Manager’s booth. We welcome chats about anything writing/reading related!
Kiss My Biscotti: Thanks to locally sourced farm Pamelot Lavender for suggesting I bake these newest biscotti treats! The aromatic hint of lavender mingles harmoniously with the bright zestiness of lemon, creating a biscotti that’s as fragrant as it is delicious! We will also have scones baked fresh morning of market!
Garden Party Fibers: My new handspun yarn this week is from my daughter’s targhee sheep, Tweedledee and Tweedledum. I have handspun the soft squishy white wool and plyed it with a silver lurex yarn. Big 90 yard skeins and some small ones, bulky weight and sparkly! See you Saturday, juaquetta.
Lake City Bakers: At Lake City Bakers, the new ready to eat Cookie Dough Bites were a hit on Wednesday, so we’ve made some more for Saturday’s Market! We also have dough available in 1 pound rolls for cutting and baking or whatever your sweet tooth desires! If you are more of a savory fan, we will have our Pepperoni Pizza Fritters!
Lilly’s Lemonade: Come check out Lilly’s Lemonade for a fresh way to cool off.
