Shop honey and fall veggies and fruits, Market Customers!
Upcoming KCFM Events
Our Fall Fest, a Saturday Market event that’s alway heaps of fun for the whole family, is in a few weeks, and we’re looking for some clothing donations for our make-a-scarecrow activity. If you have old pants or shirts (size large or bigger) that you’re looking to pass on, we’d love to take them off your hands! We need at least 125 pants and 125 shirts (button up works best), and could use some hats or scarves for accessories as well. If you’re able, please bring your donations to the manager’s booth on Saturday, this Saturday, September 20. Thank you in advance!!
We have a new flag on the stage! Thank you to Kevin Green from Unlawful Waffles in our food court who donated this beautiful new flag.
Fresh from Farmers this Week:
|
Willow Wood Honey Farm: The long wait is over! Willow Wood Honey Farm has raw honey available, just harvested in the last few weeks. These hives never leave North Idaho, so it is definitely local honey! Available in quarts, pints, and 2 pound squeeze bottles, stop by early for best selection.
Idaho Livestock Cattle: Established in Hayden, Idaho. We breed and raise seedstock Aberdeen Lowline Cattle. We see them from the time they’re born until they are sold to add genetics to another herd or until they end up in the locker. They are raised on pasture and hay. The steers and sometimes heifers that are chosen for harvest get fed out the last 90 days on grain. They are harvested between 18/24 months, hang for two weeks at Smokey Ridge Meats in Chewelah. This year our ground beef deal of 5 1# pk for $35
Killarney Farms: We will be there with green beans, Romano beans, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, celery, chard, sweet corn, salad cucumbers, snack cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, Daikon radish, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce, garlic, Walla Walla onions, red onions, green pepers, colored peppers, chili peppers, Hungarian hot peppers, jalapeno peppers, Shishito peppers, potatoes, radishes, summer squash, Patty Pan squash, zucchini, winter squash, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, tomatillos, tomatoes (salad, Romas, heirloom, cherry, grape, compari), grapes, strawberries, pears, plums, melons, golden raspberries, basil, dill, parsley, cilantro, raw goat milk and chevre cheese.

Blue Wildrye Farm: This week we’re featuring our pork chops—cut from our pasture raised Berkshire pigs. Unlike conventionally raised pork, our Berkshire chops are richly marbled, juicy, and full of flavor. Their beautiful reddish-pink color is a hallmark of high-quality pork, and the marbling guarantees tender, never-dry chops every time. $14/lb. Online pre-orders are also available: click here to order on the website by 11 pm on Thursdays for Saturday pick up or 11 pm on Mondays for Wednesday pick up.
Lake City Bakers: We are bringing back a customer favorite this weekend – Wild Blueberry Pies! We will have Lemon Blueberry Breads for you as well! If you are avoiding gluten, try our Strawberry Rhubarb Shortbread Bars or Coconut Macaroons. We look forward to seeing you!
