The Power of Produce Club (PoP Club) is a free program for children ages 5 to 12 designed to introduce children to healthy fruits, vegetables, and food-bearing plants. Children participating in the weekly club receive tokens to shop the market for fresh fruits, vegetables, and plants. The PoP Club booth offers hands-on activities designed to teach children how to grow and prepare their own food. The volunteer program runs June through Labor Day Weekend. For more information about how you can donate to this program or how to volunteer, please contact our market manager.
A major resource for the funds for PoP Club have been granted to the market from the non-profit organization Friends of the Kootenai County Farmers Markets, Inc. This would not be possible without the help of generous local businesses, vendors, and customers. Thank you!
