March is finally here, and it brought both sunshine and rain. That also means there just one more Cabin Fever Market left before the first Hayden Market on Mother’s Day weekend. Join us on Saturday, 10 am to 3 pm at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds: Free Admission – Free Parking – 3 Buildings!
This time of year is such a busy time for our vendors. Farmers are busy getting seeds started to grow hearty plants to put in the ground in May, and our crafters are busy getting all of their hand-made artisan products stocked up and ready for this Cabin Fever and other early spring shows. We invite you to come check out the over 70 beloved and new vendors who will be there this Saturday. What KCFM goodies can you not live without? See below for some messages from our vendors and discover what’s in store.
We have some special things going on this Cabin Fever Market as well! We are bringing out the smoothie bike as a FREE activity for the kids, sponsored by Friends of the Market. Bill Bozly will be joining us again with live music, and our food court will include hot food (Puzo’s Pelmeni), coffee (Idahome Espresso), and fresh juice (Lake City Juice).
Also, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who voted us North Idaho’s Best Farmers Market in the annual Inlander Best Of issue. Check out this lovely article for more.

Astilbe Lane: Hi! I’m Anna/Astilbe Lane. I create cotton rope baskets and custom dyed linens with vibrant yet earthy hues. I’m happy to participate in my first Cabin Fever Market this Saturday. I am excited to showcase new styles and new colors at this market, and am pleased to offer 10% off all linens to my customers this Saturday.
Eagle’s Dell Farm:Hatching Eggs! Eating Eggs! We’ve got EGGS! Eagle’s Dell Farm will be there to share with you not only our delicious farm fresh, all natural free range chicken eggs, but we’ll also be available to discuss the differences in nutritional value and uses for quail and duck eggs vs chicken. Have you been looking for baby chicks but can’t get them? Pick up some fertilized hatching eggs to incubate your own turkeys, geese, ducks, quail, or chickens! These could be a great homeschool project (quail eggs are a great source of protein, are easy to hatch and can often be kept in backyards even where HOA’s exist.) We’ll be at the Cabin Fever Market on Saturday, 3/29! See you then!
Bonsai Bob: I’ll be there this Saturday with my full spread of bonsai trees, from small to large. Get spring started early with a beautiful bonsai.
And much more…we look forward to seeing you!
