The first KCFM Cabin Fever Market of 2025 has arrived! Stop by the Kootenai County Fairgrounds on Saturday, January 25th, 10am to 3pm, and shop all your favorite Market vendors (Buildings 1-3)! Enter off of Government Way – Free Admission – Free Parking.
Check out this list of vendors lined up – nearly 70 local farmers, crafters, and artisan food vendors, including several produce growers and lots of food preservers (pickles, vinegar and jams). Of course bakers, meat, cheese, honey, herbs and other agricultural products in addition to plenty of awesome crafters. Bill Bozly will be joining us with live music, and our food court will have hot coffee drinks from Idahome Espresso as well as hot food from Friendly Islands Grill. Come get out of the cold and enjoy our market!
Here are messages from a few vendors looking forward to serving you this weekend:
Lake City Bakers: Over at Lake City Bakers, we can’t wait for you to try our newest treats! Focaccia loaves, Cheese Puff Cups, Apple Danishes, and all your favorite cookies, breads, scones, pies, and pastries will be there. See you Saturday!
Killarney Farms: I (Ellen!) plan to have an assortment of winter squash and cabbage for the Cabin Fever Market.
Kerr Microgreens: We are excited to have 40+ trays of live microgreens to cut fresh to order🤩 Microgreens are packed with high antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, that keep your immune system spinning…and are an excellent way to find your greens during winter🌱
Susi the Tomato Lady: I’ll be there with Huckleberry jam and bread, pumpkin cream cheese rolls, orange marmalade and other jams, seeds, herbs, succulent planters and garlic.
Dandelion Half Acre: We will be at the market with your favorite cookies, treats, fresh lovely herb/salt, and flower mixtures for the New Year. Don’t forget, Valentine’s Day is coming! We have sweets for your sweetie (or to treat yourself). Fresh and beautiful Flower Power sprinkles and elegant Sugar Hearts are already tied with bows to make your life both sweeter and easier. Grab some jam-filled shortbread to freeze for a Valentine’s brunch (or just go ahead and enjoy it today)! And pick up a handmade card, while you’re at it. We’ve got you covered. Reward yourself with some cookies and enjoy your day!
Blue Wildrye Farm: We will be at the first Cabin Fever Market with a great selection of our products. Our pasture chickens are still laying strong, thanks to cheerful lighting we provide them in their coop each evening, so we’ll have fresh pasture eggs. Our popular Berkshire pork chops are back in stock, and…FINALLY! We have our Bratwurst Link Sausages back. We will be bringing originals, jalapeno cheddar, and garlic basil.
Narrow Way Coffee: We are looking forward to a fun Cabin Fever Market again this year. We are bringing a NEW Peru coffee that has tasting notes of maple and banana. Trust us…this is a delicious coffee and one you have to stop by and try! We’ll also be serving up cups of freshly brewed coffee and bags of premium high-end, unique and well-balanced coffee ready for you to take home and enjoy!
Garden Party Fibers: I’ll be bringing new yarn colors for winter and spring, all hand-spun by me from local alpaca, wool, and kid mohair.
Rainbow Turtle Tie Dye: I will be there with some colorful Tie Dye clothes to brighten your year! I am a surface design artist. My media is tie-dye. My work consists mainly of clothing and wearable art. I manipulate color using different techniques, including ice or removing color, called reverse dye. Both applications require several steps to the finished design. Color and the possibilities of these designs to be worn are a pure joy.
And much more…Mel’s Banks and Books, Ohkay Fashion Co., Marrow & Tallow, Bonnie Crain Pottery…see you soon!
