Fresh, easy, quick, and most of all simply delicious!
Nothing is better than fresh asparagus grilled with lemon and sea salt! The perfect spring side dish.
- 1 bunch asparagus woody ends trimmed
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp grated lemon rind no white pith
- 1 tbsp sea salt such as Maldon
Break woody stems from the asparagus and place in a bowl or oblong baking dish to marinate.
Toss asparagus with olive oil, lemon juice, lemon rind, and sea salt and let marinate for 5 minutes.
Place asparagus spears on a hot grill for 2 to 3 minutes, then roll or turn to cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve with additional sea salt and a squeeze of lemon juice. Can be served hot or at room temperature.
