Other Vendor Options

The Kootenai County Farmers’ Market offers two additional vendor opportunities for those who are new to the market experience or just starting a farming enterprise.

Backyard Gardener:  Do you have extra produce from your garden that you would like to try and sell at the market? The Kootenai County Farmers’ Markets offer a half table space, twice per season, for $5 to local gardeners. Contact the Market Manager for more information on how to join the morning space lottery. Agricultural spaces are delegated first.

Fledgling Farmer: If you are a beginning farmer with small production, you may qualify for a discount on the market fees. Please write a letter to the Board of Directors (P.O.Box 791, Hayden, ID 83835) describing your operation, your goals, and financial situation.  We may ask for copies of tax returns and will inspect your farm before making any decision to accept you into this program.
