Friends of the Kootenai County Farmers Markets, Inc.

In 2019, the non-profit Friends of the Kootenai County Farmers Market was founded. This 501c3 volunteer organization has collected donations from area businesses, our own amazing market vendors, and the public through small fundraisers at special events at the market. With these funds, they have contributed to community-minded projects through the Kootenai County Farmers Markets. Grants have benefited the children’s Power of Produce (PoP) Club, provided sanitizing and safety equipment for customers and essential vendors during the height of the pandemic, and local youth sports sponsorships.
