In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, add the honey and brown sugar, and bring to a simmer while stirring constantly. Keep a close eye on the heat so it doesn’t scorch or boil over! Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
Add the bourbon and continue stirring until the mixture comes back to a simmer. Remove from heat and set aside.
Preheat your oven, Traeger or other pellet-style grill or smoker to 250℉. Cook your seasoned meat on one side for 30 minutes. Flip and cook another 20 minutes.
Brush the meat with the glaze and continue cooking until the internal temperature is 145℉. You can also cover with a lid, if in the oven, to maintain the heat and help the glaze bake and stick to your delicious cuts of meat.
