Berry Lavender Lemonade

Huckleberries. Blueberries. Raspberries. Make this with whatever berries you like!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs lavender flowers, fresh or dried
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, huckleberries, raspberries, blackberries, or a mix of these
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 large lemons)
  • local honey, to taste
  • 3 1/2 cups cold, filtered water

Instructions

  1. In a small pot over medium high heat, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the lavender. Stir and then steep for 10 minutes.

  2. Add the berries, lemon juice, and honey to a pitcher of your choice. Strain the lavender water into the pitcher and stir to dissolve the honey.

  3. Stir in the remaining cold water and serve over ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel or stem of lavender, if desired. Enjoy!
