Local Holiday Shopping Made Easy, Winter Market Customers!
Winter Market is one week away!
Join us on Saturday, December 17th, 10am – 3pm in the Jacklin Building (entrance off of Kathleen) at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds where there will be free parking, free admission, complimentary coffee and cookies, 6 amazing raffle baskets, and a wealth of locally grown, made, and crafted gifts, body products, foods, baked goods, canned jams and salsas, and so many other goodies from over 75 market vendors.
This is true support of high-quality, intentional local crafters, farmers, and producers!
Thinking about lunch? Friendly Islands Grill and Carpe Diem Crepes will be parked outside serving up some hot, delicious food to enjoy during the market. Carpe Diem’s holiday crepe special is the “Noël” with a light spread of French jam topped with pomegranate, chocolate ice cream, and a macaron! Carinne will also have crepe kits to make your Christmas morning particularly delicious.

Sandia Spice Co. makes a scrumptious mulling spice to add to sweet red wine, apple cider, or cranberry juice. They’ll also have these adorable chocolate mice for the kids or kids at heart.
Maggie May Collection is bringing one of a kind vintage silver plated wind chimes made from tea pots, sugar bowls, creamers, etc. She’ll also have a variety of silver plated bud vases, spoon necklaces, hooks, hair clips inspiration plates, and book marks.
Terratopia is whipping up som drunken goat, cheddar, feta, El Torreón, and fromage blanc goat cheese for your holiday charcuterie tray, as well as jams and jellies (jalapeño, caramel apple, garlic, cran-apple, and elderberry).
Mary Nelson has been working diligently on a bunch of quilts, from tabletop to lap to wall hanging to bed sized. She’ll also have knit scarves, hats, quilted and loomed potholders, lace items, and her African violets.

The farmers at Killarney Farms will have garlic, winter squash, walnuts, goat cheese, and oh so sweet winter carrots for your holiday meals.

Pamelot Lavender has saved up some of her lavender for some very special products: sachets, heatpads, oil sprays. And she’ll have dried lavender and culinary lavender as well.
Kiss My Biscotti is baking up two holiday favorites: Peppermint Biscotti loaded with candy cane pieces and Gingerbread Biscotti that takes you back to childhood memories of baking gingerbread boys and girls. She will also have Wine Gnomes, perfect for a hostess gift!
Wildflower Embroidery Idaho has crafted a wealth of embroidery items, with and without holiday themes, perfect for last minute gifts. Stop by and say hello!
Garden Party Fibers will have new hats and shawls handmade with wool and alpaca from local farms.
Willow Wood Honey Farm will be bringing a full line up of beeswax hand butters and chapsticks for these dry winter days – check out her samples! Particularly for the holidays, she’ll also have gift bags for stocking stuffers and party gifts for just $10 each.
